Women in Agriculture Dinner

A night out with Frauke Bolten-Boshammer

The first in a series of events featuring inspirational women, there is a dinner in September not to be missed with a special guest who has been many things in her life — a mother, farmer, immigrant, widow, diamond dealer and now author.

She is a true survivor and with one of the most valuable collections of pink diamonds in the world at 71, she has no plans of slowing down. And the pink diamonds are just one part of her colourful and tumultuous life.

Frauke has an inspirational story and she’s penned it into a fantastic read - “A Diamond in the Dust".

Supported by the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority, through funding from the East Gippsland Shire, Rotary, the Rotary Club of Woodstock-Oxford in District 7080 in Ontario, Canada and the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program, this dinner will be a wonderful night to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.

Tickets are just $20 a head and it’s not just a ladies night out - partners are very welcome.
