Huge opportunity for business to accelerate growth

To continue to support the growth of Gippsland’s food and fibre sector, Federation University together with Food & Fibre Gippsland is offering businesses the opportunity to participate in a fully funded accelerator program delivered by Rocket Seeder.

Rocket Seeder has a proven track record in helping businesses in the Food & Fibre sector go to the next level.

Who are Rocket Seeder ?

Rocket Seeder is one of Australia's leading early stage agricultural and food accelerators.

They select entrepreneurs for their program based on their likelihood of commercial success and ability to make a positive impact on society and the environment. They’ve worked with some amazing start-ups, with many going on to raise funding, employ staff and create successful high impact businesses.

The Rocket Seeder program is tailored made for early stage founders, although they do support more established businesses developing new and innovative products and services. They take people on a 6-month journey to: refine their business model utilising lean startup principles; develop a compelling narrative; and develop confidence in communicating with media, investors and potential partners.

The program is delivered via workshops, online or face-to-face, and targeted one to one support with coaches who have deep experience across all elements of the agricultural and food value chain and the commercialisation of technology.

In the past three years, they have selected leading organisations to support in the delivery of their program. They utilise some of the most well regarded innovation facilitators and service providers with expertise in marketing, IP, leadership, public speaking, finance and fundraising.

The Rocket Seeder program content is housed in a software platform developed by a Melbourne-based provider.

This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in Australia's leading early stage food and agricultural accelerator at no cost, and receive the following;

  • Guidance and support form leading business experts to refine business model to ensure the business is ready to scale and raise funding.

  • Support from leading marketing experts to create a clear and compelling business narrative and media story.

  • Public speaking coaching to develop the skills to pitch with confidence and conviction.

  • Access to Rocker Seeder’s unrivalled network of alumni, mentors and coaches.

  • Unique opportunity to create a network with locally based innovative early stage agriculture and food startups.

 The program will commence the week of the 23rd of August where you will have an online session with the program team to do a deep dive into the program.
