Hort Connections - Brisbane

Hort Connections is on from the 6th to the 8th of June at the Brisbane Convention Centre, with early bird tickets available until the 28th of April.

There is a dedicated website for this premiere conference and tradeshow event for the Australian and New Zealand horticulture industry. Tickets are discounted for growers ( just select “Grower” when registering) and conference rates have been secured for a range of accommodation close by.

The theme for Hort Connections 2022 – Growing Together – will highlight the importance for every sector of the horticulture industry to come together to build a stronger more resilient food system to feed local and international consumers.

Hort Connections speakers and exhibitors will showcase the latest research, technologies and innovations to offer new perspectives on how the industry can grow together.

An excellent line up of guest speakers include;

  • Highly credentialed meteorologist, Jane Bunn from Channel 7, with her infectious enthusiasm for the weather will present “Taking advantages of the weather to maximise farming opportunities”

  • Managing Director of Velisha Farms and founder of VEG Education, Catherine Velisha - known as a pioneering industry and education advocate championing a first of its kind industry specific training.

  • Shane Quinn, National Sales Manager of Mulgowie Farming Company will present “Why farmers will be the central bankers of the 21st century”

  • Multi award winning entrepreneur, Justin Dry will share the many lessons he has learned in the building of Vinomofo

There will be an extensive trade show and plenty of networking opportunities across the three days, with the event culminating in the Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards on the final evening.
