Transform and Grow

To remain competitive Australian manufacturers need to think about their business in new ways.

Adopting digital technology is becoming imperative for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing and process related industries.

Presented by Swinburne University of Technology’s Advanced Manufacturing 4.0 Hub, the futuremap® workshop will help businesses explore alternative ways of creating value for the business and their customers and take a step in their digital transformation journey.

The event will provoke some new thinking and demystify how Industry 4.0 digital technologies, business model innovation and leadership can transform the business.

The workshop uses the futuremap® business diagnostic tool, an interactive tool designed and developed by the Innovative Manufacturing CRC (IMCRC), specifically for Australian manufacturing & process related industry SMEs.

The tool develops an assessment of the business across 13 key areas of industrial and manufacturing competitiveness identified to help transform and advance the manufacturing operation.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be provided a personalised futuremap® report identifying growth opportunities, areas of improvement and resources to assist tackling the next steps.

Whether you’re packing baby leaf, bottling wine, making and packaging cheese or processing dairy products, this workshop will be of value to you, so put three hours aside for the right person in the business to attend and learn.

The workshops are being held in person in East Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley in March and April.
