Short video showcases the provenance of Gippsland

It began with an idea. What better way to bring the “farm to fork” message to audiences who are hungry for Gippsland fine food, than a video introducing our growers and producers? We had the perfect launchpad - a gala dinner to be held at the Gippsland New Energy Conference, where local fare was featured on the menu.

With the help of award-winning Tinamba Hotel, whose team capably curated the gala dinner menu, Food & Fibre Gippsland collaborated with farmers to capture the abundant table of this spectacular part of Victoria. Filming was made possible by the cooperation of growers, their families and staff, who all welcomed the idea with much enthusiasm.

After some forward planning and on-site shooting in late winter, the creative project came together. Around four minutes in duration, the short video is a celebration of our paddock-to-plate producers who put sustainability at the forefront of what they do.

We’ve showcased the foods that make our region a fine dining destination, introducing the businesses whose flavoursome produce provided the ingredients for a meal to remember. If you’ve heard of Gippsland Trusted Provenance, you’ll know exactly what this video is about!

We were extremely fortunate to have the help of these businesses, each one making the final short video a huge success. It was launched at the Gippsland New Energy Conference last week, and received plenty of positive feedback from patrons.

We hope you enjoy watching it, too!
